What is a landing page?

A landing page is a web page that a visitor can arrive at or “land” on. Why it is important? To limit the options available to your visitors, helping to guide them toward your intended conversion goal. You can have one website and several landing pages. You need a landing page to:

  • Promote books and sell products
  • Promote events and register participants

When should I use a landing page?

If you are setting up promotional offers, events or selling multiple products for different user segments and your homepage can’t deal with this level of message differentiation, you need to create one or more landing pages.

What is a responsive landing page?

Responsive web design (RWD) is a web design technique that creates dynamic changes to the appearance of a website size and orientation on the mobile device, tablet, or desktop screen being used to view it.

What is a Call-To-Action a landing page?

A call-to-action (CTA) page is a page that prompts your visitors, leads, and customers to take action. The action you want people to take could be anything: attend an event, sign up for a webinar, download an ebook, buy a product, etc. A CTA can be placed on your website or landing page.​
